Viking Bead Strand – OS0013

Viking bead strands were common during the medieval period, and were a measure of prosperity and power among the Norse culture. During their travels to locales as far away as northern Africa and the Middle East, Viking traders would exchange goods and services to other traders from other lands in exchange for beads, which were then brought home to their families.

Lady Emerald has created a line inspired by these pieces of jewelry, using glass, metal, wood, and a variety of other media including charms and more, to bring you a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry you can wear with pride. Each is unique, different lengths, and include a wide variety of colors, shapes, and components.

Lady Em takes things one step further and creates her bead strands to not only fit between turtle brooches on an apron dress, but by using lobster claw clasps, these can also be worn as necklaces.
